Breakdown (reimagined)

The works displayed on the windows are an iteration of a previous project created during an art residency. This series aims to evoke the transformation process of plastic turning into microplastic. Through our art, we strive to raise awareness about the overproduction and systemic negligence surrounding plastic waste.

The work was ultimately acquired by the Tomayko Foundation, the very institution for which it was created as part of the exhibition Tracing an Outline Around a Man’s Shadow. This show, curated by Nina Friedman, explored the behavior of light.
